Brunch at Ada’s on the River in Alexandria offers the perfect blend of dynamic flavors and relaxed vibes, making it a standout destination for a memorable weekend. Set along the scenic waterfront of the Potomac River, our menu emphasizes freshness and creativity. Served every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., brunch features elevated dishes like Lemon & Ricotta Pancakes, Maine Lobster Omelette, and Smoked Salmon Benedict, alongside indulgent classics like our Giant French Toast and Fried Chicken Biscuit. Add to the fun with our Bubbles by the Bottle experience, featuring sparkling wines such as Brut Rosé, Prosecco, and Champagne, paired with fresh orange, grapefruit and mango juices for customizable mimosas.

Happy Hour

Every weekday, Monday through Friday, from 3 to 6 pm, we sip, snack, and toast to “happy” at the bar. Enjoy $6 beers, including local favorite Port City Optimal Wit, $9 wines, and $11 craft cocktails, or enjoy a glass of reserve wine for just $22. Pair your drinks with crave-worthy handheld bites like Beef Tartare Cannoli, Mini Hot Lobster Rolls, and Pimiento Cheese Beignets, because Happy Hour at Ada’s is all about good vibes.

Celebrate life’s many events at Ada’s on the River!

An homage to 19th-century mathematician Ada Lovelace, Ada’s offers stunning views of the Potomac and features wood-fired prime steaks, fresh seafood and vegetarian fare.

The interior, designed by Hapstak Demetrios, provides a warm, modern feel with 15-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and inviting booth seating. The wood-burning oven is a central component to the open-concept kitchen, nestled under a sweeping hull-like wood panel, and accented with vibrant red tiles. Original art features Ada, her father, the poet Lord Byron, and other figures such as Jane Austen, Mary Shelley, and Emily and Charlotte Bronte.

Ada’s can host up to 150 guests for a full restaurant buyout, up to 40 in their private dining room, and smaller parties for cocktail parties in their outdoor patio oasis or group dining at tables.
